QwertyLock private chat links for text, SMS, MMS, and browsers
QwertyLock is a free private message link tool from SlendyStuff. Type a message, choose a shared phrase, and create a browser-encrypted link that can be sent by text message, MMS, chat, or any app that can open a normal web link.
The goal is simple: make private one-time message sharing usable from a standard phone browser without making the other person install another app.
Private message links
Create an encrypted message link and send it through the conversation app you already use. The recipient opens the link, enters the shared phrase, and reads the message in the browser.
One-time opens
The default setting is one open with a 24-hour expiration. Advanced settings can use 10 minutes, 1 hour, 24 hours, forever, one use, or two uses.
No plaintext server storage
The message is encrypted in the browser before it is saved. The server stores the encrypted block only, not the readable message or the shared phrase.
How to use QwertyLock safely
- Agree on a strong shared phrase separately from the private link.
- Do not send the shared phrase in the same text thread as the encrypted message link.
- Use one-time opens for normal private messages.
- Use forever messages only when you intentionally want a future one-time message waiting on the server.
- Remember that screenshots, compromised phones, malware, and someone watching the screen are outside what a browser link can prevent.
Frequently asked questions
What is QwertyLock?
QwertyLock is a browser-based private chat link tool for creating encrypted message links that can be sent by text, SMS, MMS, or chat.
Does QwertyLock store plaintext messages?
No. The browser encrypts the message before it is stored. The server stores an encrypted block until the selected open limit or expiration removes it.
What does the other person need to open a private message?
They need the private link and the shared phrase. For better privacy, share the phrase separately from the link.
Is this the same as a full secure messaging app?
No. QwertyLock is a lightweight browser tool for private message links. It is not a replacement for professional secure messaging, device security, or operational security.
